Summer Fields

Location: 65 Arthur St. S Elmira

How it Describes “My Elmira”

This is a familiar scene in and around Elmira with open fields and farmlands that make the countryside so beautiful. Elmira’s farms are more than just agricultural spaces; they are a testament to the area’s rich farming heritage and natural beauty. Many of the farms feature traditional, rustic farmhouses and barns that add to the idyllic countryside charm. I wanted my piece to capture the rustic beauty of Elmira’s rural countryside charm.

Artist Statement

I am an artist who likes to capture moments in time in bright bold colours. Nature plays the lead role in my work, captured through the spontaneous flow of watercolours or the vibrant brush strokes of acrylics or the soft subtleness of pastels. I like to take inspiration from the colours and moods of nature which changes like the myriad shades of human emotions.
