Mayor Sandy Shantz will kick off the event with a speech, along with a local business owner.

The Tree Lighting will happen directly after the speeches right across from Circle K.

Live Music Juneyt and Derek O’Halloran

Juneyt and Derek are in a very successful band called Turk & The Hobbits. They’ve been performing together for 13 years at pubs, festivals, weddings and many other events within the KW region and the GTA.

Juneyt has been a guitarist since the age of 18, and has built a large, dedicated following throughout the Region with his soulful, edgy and classic flamenco music styles.

Participating Downtown Elmira businesses will be running sales and promotions during our event.

Kitchen Kuttings

Warm up with a medium-sized hot drink (coffee or hot chocolate) and a cookie for $3.00. Only between 6-9pm during the event. Open until 9pm.

Green Valley Health & Herbs

Get 15% off store-wide all day on all natural products, organic grains, vitamins, aromatherapy oils, and more. Sample bags will also be handed out. Enter to win their draw for a chance to win a gift basket. Open until 8pm.

Browns Menswear

For those that like to look dapper, Browns will have a 25% off men’s quality casual clothing. Open until 9pm.

Dyer Sweets

If you’re looking for a sweet treat, there will be free apple cider, holiday cookies and cupcakes. There will also be more holiday items available from local vendors. Open until 9pm.

Elmira Home Hardware

From 6-8pm, DJ Carroll will be performing magic and juggling – perfect for the kids. There will also be the sales:

6-7pm: 15% off housewares and 30% off Christmas décor.
7-8pm: 15% off reduced prices on toys and games.
8-9pm: Save the tax in all departments*.
Games, demos and door prizes will also be held to celebrate Customer Appreciation Day.

The Bargain Shop

The “We Pay the Tax” event on everything in the store from 6-9pm will help with crossing some people off your holiday shopping list. Open until 9pm.

SOS Physiotherapy

Hot apple cider and cookie packs will be handed out in their tents. Kids can enter the colouring contest for a chance to win 1 of 3 $50 gift cards from Toy Soup in St. Jacobs. Choose from 4 different pictures and submit as many as you like but only one will be placed in the draw box per person. The winners will be announced on December 6! Open until 9pm.
